We try to keep things loose on stage and tight off it. Here's how we keep the Institute safe, fair, and welcoming.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to a harassment-free experience for everyone — including freedom from unwanted sexual advances, comments, or physical contact — regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, age, or experience level. Comedy can punch up; it does not punch down. Slurs, threats, and targeted personal attacks are not permitted on our stages or in our classes. Violations may result in removal without refund. Report concerns confidentially to hello@bendinstituteofcomedy.com.

Refunds & Class Transfers

Class registrations are fully refundable up to 14 days before the first session. Within 14 days, we offer credit toward a future class. Tickets to shows are refundable up to 24 hours before showtime; after that, we are happy to transfer your tickets to another date.

Accessibility

Our theater is wheelchair accessible with an accessible restroom. We offer ASL interpretation by request with at least 14 days' notice. Sensory-friendly performances are scheduled quarterly. Reach out to hello@bendinstituteofcomedy.com with any needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Photo & Video

Shows and classes may be photographed or recorded for promotional use. If you would prefer not to appear in media, please let our staff know at check-in or sign-in and we will work around it.

Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to run classes, sell tickets, and send the occasional newsletter. We do not sell or share your personal information. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time, and request deletion of your data by emailing hello@bendinstituteofcomedy.com.
