Destination training

Saturday improv intensive.

One day. Deep work. Big breakthroughs. Serious improv training in Bend, Oregon for performers who want to level up fast.

One day. Everything you've got.

The Saturday Improv Intensive is a full-day deep dive into longform improv technique, taught by BIC founder John Breen. It's designed for performers who want serious training without the commitment of an eight-week series — and for out-of-town players who make the trip to Bend specifically for this.

We run these intensives on select Saturdays throughout the year. The format is simple: arrive ready, work hard, laugh harder, and leave with tools you'll use immediately. Expect scene work, game-based exercises, ensemble dynamics, and direct coaching that pinpoints exactly where you can grow.

This isn't a casual workshop. It's a concentrated training day built on the same methodology John developed over 30 years — from UCB Theatre in New York to Loose Moose in Calgary to Annoyance in Chicago. The difference is, you get it all in one Saturday.

People travel here from across the West Coast

Bend is worth the trip. Our Saturday intensives draw players from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Northern California who want focused training from an experienced instructor in a setting that's more affordable and personal than LA or NYC.
